Delegated Authority
Allow school administrators to set up priority access to faculty across the campus. This allows the school to bring in their professors to create classroom channels, the marketing team to manage the school-owned channels, or the school security to gain access to the entity notifications widget so they can be notified in case of a campus emergency.
Account Management
Manage basic account preferences. You upload the avatar, upload the school banner, and push these images to all of the channels that are owned by your school and are not operated by other members of the delegated authority. This tool allows the management of the school email domains which need to be accurate so that current students and faculty receive their initial emails when “graduating” their accounts to their schools.
Entity Profile
This gives you the ability to change any pertinent information school’s About page. This is also where you can create links back to your main school’s website portal.
Discovery
The discovery feed connects users to all schools, all visible channels, ideas and streams happening across the entire site! When you post into a channel, so long as it's accessible to you, it will show on the discovery feeds.
Channel Manager
Administrators assigned to the appropriate role in delegate authority can create, invite, assign, and or manage official school-owned channels. These channels can be classroom channels managed by a professor, channels created by the YouTube Loader to be managed by individual professors or the marketing team, or organizational channels designed to be passed down through the years and ultimately, managed by the school.
Entity Notifications
Use the alert ticker to inform your campus of the latest news as it happens. This alert will scroll across the top of the screen for anyone who has “graduated” to your entity.
YouTube Sync
The YouTube loader allows official school-owned YouTube channels to merge within the SeeMeU ecosystem. The loader takes the playlists of the YouTube channels and turns them into school managed channels within SeeMeU. Schools now have one central location to direct their user base to see the content they work so hard to produce!
