3. To affiliate your account with your school, you can follow these steps:
- Go to your account settings and click on the "Communities" option.
- Select the option to search for your school or enter its name.
- Follow the instructions to verify your affiliation by providing your school email address.
- Once your affiliation is verified, you will be able to create Channels or join existing ones that are connected to your school.
Channels
Creating & Joining
SeeMeU organizes all content in channels that are connected to specific schools. The visibility of a channel determines how the content shared within it is displays on the school's page. Channels can be set to one of four visibility options:
- Public: content is visible to all users of SeeMeU, regardless of their affiliation with the school and whether or not they are signed in.
- Signed in: content is visible only to users who are signed in to SeeMeU, but not necessarily affiliated with the school.
- School private: content is visible only to users who are both signed in to SeeMeU and affiliated with the same school as the channel.
- Private: content is visible only to users who have been explicitly invited to join the channel.

Sharing Ideas
- Users share content on SeeMeU through "ideas," which are posts or messages.
- Each idea is linked to a specific channel.
- Users show their affiliation with a school or organization when sharing an idea.
- Affiliation is represented by a badge and user color type.
